Across Two Nations.

”When I moved to England as a young girl, I went straight into high school. I felt different and just wanted to be like everyone around me. I got teased for my skin colour and where I came from, which left me feeling utterly ashamed of who I was.

Recently, I had the privilege to go back to Pakistan and connect to my roots. I realised that I had been rejecting and hiding a big part of me for so long.

This shoot for me is a celebration of how far I’ve come in feeling good in my own skin and embracing my culture.”
